1. **Home Alone's McCallister Residence (Winnetka, Illinois)**

A household favourite, with Macaulay Culkin at his very best as Kevin McCallister, taking on the baddies in essential family viewing, whilst….well…home alone.

….yet all you want to know is how much is the house worth, right?

You may have heard in recent years it was listed on AirB&B, where you could be introduced to the property by a member of the cast. The actual address is 671 Lincoln Ave, Winnetka, IL 60093 and was most recently sold in 2012 for $1,585,000.

The 10 bed residence has a current estimated value (or “Zestimate” in American property portal world) at $2,344,700.

2. **The Griswold's House from Christmas Vacation (Chicago, Illinois)**

The 1989 film included the Grizwold household, a house used in numerous films and though dressed as a Chicago suburb.

3. **Home Alone 2-Uncle Rob’s house (New York City, NY)**

A close run thing for the best Home Alone movie as Kevin McCallister is let loose in New York staying at the famous Plaza Hotel and using his uncle Rob’s house full of booby traps.

Did you know that all scenes showing the Home Alone New York house were actually filmed on the stage-ready Brownstone Street on the Universal Studios backlot in Los Angeles, but the house address used, 51 W 95th St, New York, NY 10025 is actually currently for sale for a cool $6,700,000 see details at 51 W 95th St, New York, NY 10025 | Zillow

5. **Love Actually, St Lukes Mews, Notting Hill**

Picture-perfect, this cozy English cottage witnessed many love stories unfold. Can you feel the romantic vibes?

As Mark stood outside Juliet’s house in St Lukes Mews in one of the most iconic move scenes of all time, who knew every romantic person in the country would replicate it at some point.

Just me, oh ok.

With a value of £2.75m this three bedroom terrace house is ironically available for sale currently, listed in December, of course just in time for Christmas…

8. **Miracle on 34th Street's Bedford Falls House (Los Angeles, California)**

There is nothing quite like a black and white iconic Christmas movie. This is surely that, released in 1947, in which made the world believe in Santa Clause. Filmed at 24 Derby Rd, Port Washington, NY 11050, aprox some four years after being built, Susan’s “dream house” is still in situ with current long term owners, who may be keen to hear its predicted market value to be between $898,000 and $1,090,000.

Journey through these cinematic gems proves that a home is not just bricks and mortar; it's the heart of countless memories. Which Christmas movie home do you dream of spending the Christmas holidays in?

P.S.This is not in order of favourites (though director’s favourite is conveniently at Number 1, the main picture and watched December 1st every year)
